This agreement is between the Alliance of Democracies Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing democracy worldwide, and you as the donor. By making a donation, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Payment Conditions
Payment Methods: We accept credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, checks, and online payment platforms.
Processing: Donations are processed immediately upon transaction completion.
Transaction Fees: Payment processing fees may be deducted from your donation unless you choose to cover these fees separately.
- Use of Donations
Unless otherwise specified, donations support our general operations and programs advancing democracy, free markets and civic engagement globally. Designated donations will be used for their specified purpose, subject to our operational discretion.
- Right of Withdrawal
Since this is a donation, your "purchase" is not covered by the usual 14-day right of withdrawal under consumer contract law. All donations are considered voluntary contributions to our charitable mission.
- Return Policy
General Policy: Donations are final and non-refundable as they support ongoing charitable work.
Limited Exceptions: Refunds are only available for:
- Duplicate transactions due to technical errors
- Unauthorized transactions with proper documentation
- Processing errors made by the Foundation
- Privacy and Data Protection
We collect only information necessary to process donations and issue receipts. Personal information is protected according to applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share donor information with third parties except as required for donation processing or by law.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by Danish law.
Resolution Process: We will first attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication. If unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through Danish courts.
Consumer Rights: Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
