Junior associates

Location: Copenhagen
Period: February 2 – June 26, 2026
Full-time internship | Compensation: DKK 3,608/month + SU

The role

  • Event management and outreach for the Copenhagen Democracy Summit (May 13-14, 2026)

  • Political communication, research, and drafting materials.

  • Engagement with high-profile individuals, governments, and democracy activists.

  • Day-to-day operational tasks and input for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Strong written/oral English (other languages an asset).

  • Solid academic and analytical skills.

  • Interest in politics and international affairs; habit of following current events.
  • Tech-savviness (Office Suite, social media, HubSpot).

  • Accountability, drive, and attention to detail.

 

Communications intern

Location: Copenhagen
Period: February 2 – June 26, 2026
Full-time internship | Compensation: DKK 3,608/month + SU

The role

  • Creating content and managing press relations.
  • Expanding and maintaining our journalist and media contact list.

  • Strategic communications planning and social media monitoring.

  • Supporting filming, video editing, and graphic design.

  • Executing communications outputs for the Copenhagen Democracy Summit (May 13–14, 2026).

Qualifications

  • Experience managing social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, BlueSky, YouTube).
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills in English and/or Danish.

  • Knowledge of video editing software and short-form content creation. 

  • Familiarity with design tools (Canva required; Adobe skills a plus).

  • Interest in politics and international affairs; habit of following current events.


Internship Terms

  • Full-time, based in Copenhagen.

  • Tailored for students at Danish universities completing a credit-bearing internship.

  • Compensation: DKK 3,608/month + SU.

  • We recommend not taking courses during the internship.

Internship details

The internship is a full-time position lasting approximately five months, with two annual intakes: one period runs from February to July, and the other from August to January.

We offer flexibility to support individual schedules and university credit transfer requirements.

This opportunity is designed for students enrolled at Danish universities who wish to complete a credit-bearing internship as part of their degree.

The internship is based at our offices in central Copenhagen.
